- Does it work with my WooCommerce theme?
- Yes — Contextfully is a single script tag that runs at the page level. It does not modify your theme files and works with any WooCommerce theme.
- How is this different from a regular YouTube embed?
- A YouTube embed plays a video. Contextfully turns the video into a shoppable surface — viewers can tap a product inside the player and add it to cart without leaving the page.
- Do I need a developer to install it?
- No. Copy a single <script> tag into your theme via WooCommerce → Appearance → Customize → HTML, or any plugin that lets you add a script. Most stores are live in under five minutes.
- What happens to my videos if I cancel?
- Your account is soft-deleted with a 30-day grace period. During that time you can re-export your originals or reactivate. After 30 days videos are permanently removed.
- Can I use it on multiple stores?
- Yes. Starter supports up to 3 stores; Pro is unlimited. Agencies can manage all client stores from a single account.
- How do you handle GDPR / EU customers?
- No tracking until your visitor opts in. Cookieless analytics. Originals are stored on Cloudflare R2 with EU-region hints when configured.
- What video formats do you support?
- Upload up to 100 MB / 2 minutes per file. We transcode to a single 1080p MP4 (H.264 + AAC, faststart-flagged) for maximum compatibility.
- Will this slow down my store?
- The widget script is small and async. Videos stream from Cloudflare's global edge. We hold ourselves to a Lighthouse Performance budget and publish our own perf numbers in the changelog.
